Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how zApkly (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our platform for Android app testing and APK distribution.
Last updated: April 4, 2026
1) Information we collect
- Account & organization data: when you register, we collect your username and email, and store authentication details required for login. We also associate your account with a company and role (e.g., Admin, Developer, Tester).
- APK and application metadata: when you upload APKs or app bundles, we store metadata such as package name, app name, version name/code, SDK targets, file size, permissions, and extracted icon or configuration details needed for distribution, the store experience, and auditing.
- Usage & technical data: we may collect device or browser type, approximate region, session identifiers, and error logs to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Download analytics: when APKs are downloaded, we record download events, including user or tester email (if available), IP address, device information, source, status, and timestamps, so we can provide analytics and auditing for your organization.
- Feedback and issues: testers can submit feedback (type, priority, title, description, screenshots when provided) and comments. We store this information to support issue tracking and reporting.
2) How we use information
We use the information above to run the zApkly service: manage APK uploads, distribute builds to invited testers, track downloads, process feedback and issue status, authenticate users, prevent abuse, comply with law, and support billing and account administration. We do not sell your personal information.
Where we rely on consent (for example, for certain marketing communications if offered), you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
3) Sharing and disclosures
We may share information with:
- Your organization: Admins and Developers may view APK lists, download analytics, and feedback relevant to their company according to their role and your workspace settings.
- Service providers: hosting, object storage, email delivery, analytics, and payment processors may process data on our behalf under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.
- Legal requirements: if required to comply with law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, zApkly, or the public.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred subject to this Policy or equivalent protections.
4) International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live, including where our infrastructure or subprocessors operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) for cross-border transfers.
5) Retention
We retain data as long as needed to provide zApkly and fulfill legitimate business purposes, including maintaining download analytics, feedback history, security logs, and supporting billing. Deleted APKs may be soft-deleted (recycle bin) and can be restored for a period defined by your plan and our operational practices, after which they may be permanently removed.
6) Security
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss, including access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong passwords and protect your account credentials.
7) Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access or receive a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion, subject to legal and contractual exceptions
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based

9) Children
zApkly is not directed at children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
